New style grain dryer
A new style grain drier with more drying capacity has been put on the market by IBEC. The Alberta-based company says its new Turbo series has a patent-pending duct design that maximizes air flow and drying efficiency without compromising basic design features.
More bushels are dried per dollar invested, providing cost savings to producers, the company said in a news release, adding that the automated, continuous flow Turbo series can be used by farmers looking for more capacity and by those in the market for smaller, economical driers. Transport costs and on-site assembly costs are also lower.

Knock-on knife
Dutch Industries has introduced a new knock-on knife series for farmers who need quick removal and replacement of cultivator knives.
The knives are designed to fit Bourgault and McKay slim wedge cultivator adapters or any Nichols Quick Change Line system.
The units are made from recycled shovels. They have high wear points such as the Dutch roll pin replaceable tip or the light or heavy duty weld-on tip.

Forage applicator
Valmar Airflow has introduced the 455 forage preservative applicator to distribute granular preservatives through hay or forage when harvesting.
The unit mounts to most balers and forage harvesters.
The 455 delivers product at rates up to five pounds per minute. An in-cab monitor and control unit allows remote control of fan and metering functions.
It also has a 2.8 cubic foot hopper with screen and easy hopper bottom shut off.

Tire change tool
A new, portable tire change tool is now available.
The JUEL Bead Breaker with extension will work for most vehicles and tractor tires up to 42.5 inches. The basic unit is designed for 12 to 16 inch wheels. The optional extension takes it up to 42.5 inches.
The device is operated by a hand wrench, usually breaking the bead in one application.
The compact device fits into a truck or trailer box.
