New tractor series
Case IH has a new series for the Steiger Tractor line.
The STX four-wheel drive tractors have advancements in steering, diagnostics, track design, comfort and ease of service, the company says. The four models range in power from 275 to 440 horsepower.

New combine
Massey Ferguson’s new MF 8780 SP rotary combine comes with a new 285 horsepower Cummins Quantum engine with electronic controls that ensure higher torque, better fuel economy, quieter operation and longer maintenance intervals, the company says.
At 2,200 rpm, it has a power bulge to 305 h.p. to maintain performance in tough harvesting conditions and when unloading on the go.
The unit features load-sensing hydraulics, hydrostatic ground drive, four-speed, constant-mesh transmission and heavy-duty final drives.
The 230-bushel grain tank features a fast filling clean grain auger and can be unloaded in about two minutes on the go with electro-hydraulic control of turret unloader position and engagement.
Low horsepower tractor
Massey Ferguson has a new small, low horsepower tractor. The MF 1233 is available in two- and four-wheel drive.
The engine is a naturally aspirated three-cylinder, 28-horsepower diesel with indirect fuel injection. The sliding gear transmission has nine forward and three reverse gears. A 540-rpm rear-mount power take-off is standard and a 2,000-rpm mid-mound PTO is optional. The category one three-point hitch has a lift capacity of 560 kilograms at the link ends and features response and position control for handling a variety of implements.
