Welder wire feeders
The Handler 140 and Handler 180 all-in-one MIG welder-wire feeders from Hobart Welders are designed to outperform competitive industrial-grade units.
The welders offer better low-end performance and better output with flux-cored wire on thicker materials. The units weld steel as thin as 24 gauge.
The Handler 140 weighs 57 pounds, has an output range of 25-140 amps and welds steel up to 1/4 inch thick. The Handler 180 welds up to 5/16 inch steel, weighs 68 lb. and puts out 25-180 amps of power.
The Handler 140 operates on standard 115-volt household current while the Handler 180 requires 230/240 volt power. Both machines handle mild steel, stainless, flux-cored and aluminum wires. A four-position tapped control simplifies voltage adjustment, while an infinite wire feed speed control (amperage) fine-tunes the arc. The Handler features a wire feed speed tracking function unique to its product class. When switching the voltage knob to a different tap for a different metal thickness or joint design, the Handler’s tracking function automatically increases or decreases the wire feed speed with the change in the voltage setting.
