Manure system
Mackay Equipment Sales is now carrying the Patz manure solutions system.
It consists of a manure separator, a non clogging screen, lagoon
aerator, pulsator pump and pulsator.
The system removes solids that can be composted.
Although the solid portion of manure makes up less than 15 percent of
the volume, it can contain 85 percent of the phosphorus.
Odour from the lagoon is reduced by aeration. The aerated liquid waste
is applied at a low-flow rate with large droplets instead of a mist,
reducing evaporation and minimizing odour.
