New floater line

Case IH’s new FLX Series floater line offers four models for commercial applicators.

The three-wheel FLX3010 and FLX3510 and the four-wheel FLX4010 and FLX4510 floaters offer either 300 or 350 hp. All four models can be equipped with new models of the FLX810 Flex-Air applicator or the FLX610 liquid system. The new chassis is built on a durable frame of rectangular cross-section steel that provides almost twice the bending resistance of typical I-beams, as well as more torsion and load-carrying capacity.

The floaters feature a Case IH Surveyor cab similar to that found on Case IH STX series Steiger tractors.

VIDEO: Green Lightning and Nytro Ag win sustainability innovation award

Nytro Ag Corp and Green Lightning recieved an innovation award at Ag in Motion 2025 for the Green Lightning Nitrogen Machine, which converts atmospheric nitrogen into a plant-usable form.

Selection of engine speed and gearing is straightforward with a six-speed Allison MD push button automatic transmission. Models FLX3510 and FLX4510 also feature a two-speed auxiliary transmission, which provides 24 speed choices, and is optional on the FLX3010 and FLX4010.

A Case IH 8.3-litre, 300 hp electronic engine powers the FLX3010 and FLX4010, while a nine litre, 350 hp electronic engine is used in the FLX3510 and FLX4510. Both are rated at 2,100 rpms for improved fuel economy, increased engine life and decreased noise. The Case IH Flex-Air dry fertilizer and granular chemical applicator and FLX liquid system have been upgraded to complement the new FLX Series floaters.

Sprayer brought back

Equipment Technologies Inc. has re-introduced the Apache 500 sprayer with a 1,893 litre tank.

Many of the components in the new, smaller sprayer are also used on the company’s commercial-sized 850, 1000 and 1200 series machines.

The mechanical drive sprayer has a 140 hp John Deere engine, JCB four speed transmission and rear axle and planetaries, 31 inch crop clearance and JCB solid 90 inch axle.

New tire line

Michelin has added a new size for its MachXBib radial tire line designed for combines.

The 900/60R32 has a large footprint, rounded shoulders and ultra-low pressure for less soil compaction and decreased rut depth.

The company says that in tests on combines under loads of up to 18,800 lb. per tire, the 900/60R32 had a footprint 15 percent larger than that of a comparably sized, competitive radial tire.

Two steel crown belt plies enhance the tire’s ability to carry heavy loads for longer life.

The MachXBib also comes in a range of other sizes.
