Case has introduced the Cyclo Air metering system for use with Case IH Concord air till drills.
The system expands the capability of the Concord drills by making them effective for planting row crops, as well as cereals.
The system meters and plants grains such as corn, milo, sunflowers and soybeans.
It uses a shank-style opener for accurate spacing and depth control. The opener lifts the soil out of the seed furrow and a firming point creates and firms the walls of the furrow.
The Concord system comes in 110 and 350-bushel capacities and houses large central seed or fertilizer compartments.
In addition, growers can apply dry, liquid or starter fertilizer while planting.
The system features monitors with easy-to-read LCD display and back-lit touch pads to monitor the seed flow through the seed sensor to the trench.
