Farm accounting
Windows-compatible farm accounting software has been released by FMS/Harvest, called Perception Accounting for Agriculture. The software features flexibility, power, open architecture and ease of use. It can be customized to meet the needs of each producer. Grain shuttle
Morris Industries Ltd. has introduced the Grain Shuttle, designed to cut the workload during harvest. The shuttle adds an extra 700 bushels of capacity to your combine by allowing it to run continuously, unloading into the shuttle on the go. A large 35-centimetre (14-inch) diameter main auger unloads the entire box in 31Ú2 minutes. The auger’s reach can unload into semi-trailers and larger grain trucks. Two centre dump gates unload directly at the elevator or into a transfer auger. A single blot plate under the feed auger and pull-out panel on the main auger enables complete cleanout – facilitating multi-crop operations. Large flotation tires create less soil compaction and allow operation in wet or soft conditions. Built-in features include a folding outside access ladder, as well as an inside ladder and a lighting package for low light and night conditions.
