Bin level sensor
A grain bin level indicator is now available from Farm Products Direct, Inc. The Levalert can be installed from outside a grain bin through a 11Ú8 inch hole, and allows producers to see the level of material in the bin without having to climb up and look inside.
Levalert can sense almost any granular bulk solids that weigh between 15 and 100 pounds per cubic foot. As bin material reaches the device, it pushes against a rubber activator, turning a color tube from black to yellow. Reflective material makes it visible at night.

Coupler
The new Hamerlock Coupler is designed to make it easier to hitch a trailer.
The Hamerlock reverses the usual arrangement of a ball on the tow vehicle and coupler on the trailer.
The system comes with a coupler plate that converts the existing trailer tongue, equipping it with a hitch ball facing downward.
The Hamerlock coupler attaches to the rear of the tow vehicle. Its V-shaped ramp centres the trailer ball, lifts it and drops it in place. The driver does not need to get out of the vehicle. Hamerlock is rated for class two and three trailers weighting up to 5,000 pounds.
