Foot care for cattle

Cowslips are recyclable plastic shoes designed to treat lameness in cattle.

Developed by a veterinary surgeon, Cowslips are fitted to the healthy hoof claw to take the weight off the damaged or infected claw, which alleviates pain and speeds healing.

The product increases the animal’s mobility and remains on the animal for several weeks. Cowslips are usually self-shedding as the natural oil breaks the bond between the hoof and adhesive, but occasionally must be removed manually.

Cowslips have won animal health awards in France, England and New Zealand.

Pneumatic injector system

The Pneumatic Injector System is designed to move cereal crops faster and further using an air stream, which carries it through standard piping to its destination whether it be grain bins, rail cars or trucks.

The system can handle light and delicate grains such as malting barley and grass seed, as well as the heavier materials, such as foundry sand, slag and road salt.

The system can move products as much as 90 metres vertically (300 feet), and 180 metres (600 feet) horizontally. On short runs, it can move as much as 110 tonnes per hour.

It’s portable and can be powered by a farm tractor, tractor/trailer, four-cylinder diesel or an electric motor.

The injector system replaces product legs as well as grain augers and keeps all controls at ground level.
