Sprayer made more accurate
The new SPX 4260 Patriot sprayer from Case IH has improved operator comfort and the latest information and navigation systems.
The Surveyor cab is the same as on the STX Series tractors. When equipped with the Ag Information Manager system, the droplet size can be changed by varying pressure independent of speed and flow, to manage spray drift.
The AIM Navigation system provides accurate spray records and extends spraying into the night using global positioning system guidance and parallel swathing.

Windrowers roll lightly
Hesston has improved its self-propelled and pull-type windrowers.
The horsepower on the self-propelled 8550 has been increased to 165 from 152 hp. The 8250 model will come equipped with a two-speed hydrostatic transmission, a speedometer and rotary air intake.
In addition to the rubber on steel and steel on steel conditioner roll options, Hesston will offer the TiCor, shallow-lugged, intermeshing rubber rolls made from cord-reinforced rubber. The design absorbs shocks from rocks with less damage and does less damage to crop leaves than other deep-lugged rubber or urethane rolls.
