Adaptors, couplers
New Holland now carries a full line of p.t.o. adaptors for #6, #20 and #21 splines.
The adaptors can be used on tractors of up to 125 p.t.o. horsepower. They are available in both cross-pin or spring-loaded, quick-release designs. New Holland also has a variety of over-running couplers for both #6 and #21 splines for tractors rated to 125 p.t.o. horsepower.
These over-running couplers take the push out of the driven machine and eliminate the chance of broken or twisted p.t.o. shafts. Over-running couplers feature spring roll pins or set screws which allow quick attachment, a heat-treated steel inner sleeve and a grease fitting for lubrication.

U-joint puller
Tiger Tool Co., has introduced a U-joint puller for all driveshafts, including power take-off driveshafts for farm equipment.
To remove bearing cups (even those that are rusted), slip the U-joint puller over the yoke.
By turning the bolt, the bearing cup is pressed out. Repeat the process on the remaining three sides of the yoke.
No damage
The puller eliminates damage to driveshafts, yokes, cups and bearings and is available in three models:
Mark 1 to fit drive line series 1500-1800; Mark 2 for 1500 and under series drive lines such as those on school buses; and Mark 3 for automobiles and pick-up trucks.
