Bandsaw mill
Isaac Ironworks has a new bandsaw mill designed to be operated by one
person.
The SVM E02 mill is powered by a 13-horsepower Honda engine. It
features a 21-foot main frame with six levelling screws, 20-inch band
wheels and a 11/4-inch blade.
The carriage glides on four roller bearings. The head can be raised and
lowered with one hand. Log blocks and dogs can be bolted to any cross
member.
The basic mill cuts logs 16 feet long by 24 inches in diameter.

Feeder chain roller kit
Exner Farms has a new feeder chain roller kit for Case IH axial flow
combines.
The kit keeps the chain off the upper and lower wear plates, allowing
the chain to run smoother and quieter, dramatically increasing chain
life and reducing wear on the side rails.
It also prevents the lower half of the chain from cutting into the
cross member frame, forcing the feeder chain clutch to slip.
The shaft is one inch in diameter and has two greaseable end bearings.

Electronic livestock weighing systems
Kaniwi Korrals has acquired the marketing rights to the Iconix line of
electronic livestock weighing systems.
There are four models of scale indicators with various features from
basic weighing, automatic two- or three-way sorting and automatic
weight gain calculations.
The FX 41 model is also compatible with electronic identification. The
weighing systems use electronic load bars or weigh pad sets with
maximum 4,000 kilogram capacity.
When combined with the WinFX Linker package, records can be transferred
from the FX 21 or FX 41 to an IBM compatible PC.

Herbicide registration
PrePass from Dow AgroSciences is registered for use in summerfallow as
well as pre-seed burndown.
It contains a herbicide combination with two modes of action –
florasulam, which is group 2, and glyphosate, which is group 9.
It works on annual grasses, broadleaf weeds and winter annuals. There
is residual action but no recropping restrictions when applied to
summerfallow from April to the end of August.
