New hay rake line

Agco’s New Idea group has added eight rake lines.

There are five new wheel rakes in three size classes and three new V-rakes in three sizes.

Shared features in the 4300 Series are strong rake teeth that measure seven millimetres in diameter, rake wheels that lift in unison and an adjustable drawbar clevis that lets the operator level the rake wheel beams, regardless of tractor drawbar height.

The new 4240 rotary rake is built on a heavy duty frame, offering an adjustable windrow width of almost 15 feet, has a gentle raking action effective in preventing leaf loss in alfalfa.

Easy vaccinations

Prima Technologies’ new Prima Tech Vaccinator and bottle mount vaccinator have a number of improvements for easier and more accurate injections.

The larger dose adjuster makes adjustments easy and fast. A built-in tension adjustment knob makes it easier to administer heavy medications.

New internal valves allow for faster barrel refills and complete accurate dose delivery. They are made of titanium plastics and there is a hook built into the assembly so the vaccinator can hang near the processing chute.

Cattle gate

The RBA Portable Cattle Guard eliminates the hassle of repeatedly opening and closing cattle gates and the danger of losing cattle because of gates left open.

It is a five-foot-wide grill made of 15 two-inch wide polyester belts attached to two heavy duty steel pipes.

Spring tensioned chains attach the grill to the gate posts. It adjusts to gate widths up to 16 ft.

The grill adjusts to give the belts a ground clearance of two to 12 in. One person can install the unit. No tools are needed.

The unit weighs about 95 pounds. It can be retracted with a hand crank when not in use. The belts are resistant to abrasion and ultra-violet light. The metal is painted with powder coating for durability.
