Collapsible bin

A collapsible plastic bin is available from Perstorp Xytec, Inc.

Called the AgBin 4848 container, it is designed for continual re-use in transporting and storing all varieties of fruit and vegetables.

The hinged walls fold down to save storage space when they are transported empty.

Unlike wood or metal bins, high-density polyethylene plastic is resistant to chemicals and does not rot, rust or corrode.

Cooling of perishable contents is ensured through ventilated base and sides. Smooth plastic surfaces and large rounded corners reduce bruising.
