Sieve and chaffer system
The Gateway sieve and chaffer system is lighter than standard sieves and chaffers found on most combines. The aluminum and plastic construction results in a 50 percent reduction in frame weight, meaning less wear and tear.
Gateway sieves are also repairable. Their modular construction allows for fast and easy replacement of damaged sections and the slipperiness of the plastic slates prevents material from building up during use.
In-field tests show they can be used on a variety of crops. They are already available for Case 2388 and John Deere STS combines and additional models will soon be available to fit other combines.
