Auxiliary fuel tank

Prairie Innovations has introduced an auxiliary fuel tank for Case IH Axial Flow combines.

The Long Ranger fits under the shield on the right rear corner of the combine adjacent to the existing fuel tank.

Because it is parallel to the factory tank, the add-on uses the existing fuel gauge and fuel filter without the need for extra wires or pumps.

The filter is beside the existing filter.

The tank is made of moulded plastic and holds more than 30 gallons (136 litres), giving most models an extra 30 percent capacity.

VIDEO: Green Lightning and Nytro Ag win sustainability innovation award

Nytro Ag Corp and Green Lightning recieved an innovation award at Ag in Motion 2025 for the Green Lightning Nitrogen Machine, which converts atmospheric nitrogen into a plant-usable form.

Installation requires few new drill holes.

Ball hitch

PopUp Industries has introduced a remote-controlled gooseneck ball hitch.

The 2 5Ú16 inch hitch ball is raised and lowered without having to get into the box.

The installed hitch spans the truck frame under the bed floor and is bolted to the frame using existing holes. The user switches from hitch ball to level bed by pushing an actuating rod in the rear wheel well of the tow vehicle. Included in the hardware are spring-loaded u-bolts for anchoring safety chains, which are level with the bed floor when not in use.

Installation requires drilling a three-inch (7.5 centimetre) hole and four one-half inch (1.25 cm) holes in the bed box floor. The ball has a rating of 7,500 pounds (3,375 kilogram) maximum tongue weight and 30,000 lb. (13,500 kg) maximum trailer weight.

Models are available for all late model full-size domestic pick-up trucks.

Blade kit

Loewen has introduced a new Marline Impeller Blade Kit to solve a feeding problem with the Case-IH Rotary combine.

The improved feeding translates into better threshing time.

It is smaller than the original style, opening the entrance to the rotor, allowing material to flow freely.

The design helps prevent wrapping of material around the front beater bearing and reduces wear and breakage of rotor belts, bearings and vanes.

The kit includes balanced impeller blades, chrome wear bars and hardware.
