Moving hoppers

John Buhler Inc. has introduced the Hopper-Mover.

A hydraulically powered ground wheel eliminates manual handling of the hopper while positioning under or behind a truck and moving it out of the way when the truck is unloaded.

It includes a spring-loaded adjustment to vary the wheel pressure for operation on uneven ground.

The Hopper-Mover can be installed in about an hour on most 10-to 13-inch swing-away augers.

For more information, contact a Farm King dealer.

The Hopper-Mover uses a hydraulically powered ground wheel.

Stopping leaks

Kwik-Kap has introduced a new system for stoping leaks in metal roofs.

Kwik-Kap is a self-adhering disk that conforms around individual fasteners, creating a water tight seal. It requires no drying time, eliminating the problems of caulking and patching.

It can cover and seal elongated holes caused by contraction and expansion and prevent fastener backout, the major cause of roof leaks.

For more information contact Kwik-Kap Co., 2411 Catacombs Dr., New Caney, Texas, USA, 77357 or phone 281-399-9334 or visit the website at www.kwik-kap.com.

Flood monitor

FirstSmart Sensor Corp. has introduced the FloodStopper, which acts like a circuit breaker for water mains.

The system integrates plumbing and electronics to detect moisture by electronic sensors. Sensors mounted on the floor detect when there is a leak or overflow. They signal a valve to turn off the main water supply or the supply to a particular area.

The system can be integrated with most monitored security and building monitor systems.

Property identification

Permion Technologies has introduced Marked For Life, chemical marking technology to permanently mark and identify belongings.

The mark contains visible identifiers, for instant verification of ownership. Under an ultra violet light the mark will glow. Also, an agent in the chemical will turn color when rubbed with a cotton swabbed dipped in test fluid.

When the Permion chemical code is applied, the carrier fluid – much like a clear paint – dries on the surface of the item. The chemical code absorbs into the item and is virtually indestructible.

For more information contact Marked for Life at #7-2250 Leckie Road, Kelowna, B.C., phone 888-271-1177 or visit the web site at www.markedforlife.com.
