Tire remover
Farmex has introduced the Bead-Cheata tool to remove and remount a variety of tires, including those on tractors, while in the field.
The Bead-Cheata typically eliminates the need to remove the wheel when changing a tire, saving time and energy. It can be used on tires as small as those on golf carts and as large as those on combines.
The tool’s tongue locks under the rim while two other tongues push the bead into the well of the wheel.
The tongues are forced into position with a hammer used on the built-in strike plate. Adjuster screws, combined with a cam-locking device, enable the tool to clamp a variety of rims and wheels.

Self-leveling loader
John Buhler Inc. has introduced mechanical self-leveling as an option on its Allied front-end loader models 595 and larger for tractors from 50 to 275 horsepower.
Called the TSL for True Self Leveling, the unit uses mechanical linkage to maintain the bucket level within one degree while being raised or lowered.
A standard feature of the new loaders is parallel linkage which substantially increases the rollback and dump angles compared to non-self-leveling units.
The company will also continue to offer hydraulic self-leveling units.

Heated waterers
SPI Industries of Ontario has introduced two new insulated, electrically heated waterers.
The EE100 and EE50 are made of polyethylene insulated with poly-urethane, and have state-of-the-art electrical components, including a solid state thermostat and flexible 250-watt radiant heating pad.
They have three-piece construction with rounded edges and a tip-up hinged basin allowing access to electrical components, water line and incoming services for easy maintenance.
The radiant heat pad is mounted away from the water supply protecting livestock from stray voltage.
The EE50 holds 26.6 litres while the EE100 holds 41.8 litres
