Milk monitoring system
Alfa Laval Agri Inc. has introduced a portable take-off electronic milk monitoring system for tie-stall barns.
The Advisor manages herd production by providing information such as milk yield, flow and time. It is designed to be accurate to within 10 percent of each animal’s daily production level
It records milking time for each cow, helping managers minimize milking time. It weighs less than five kilograms.
The company has also introduced a post-milking teat dipping product.
Della-Soft ACT does not use detergents. It is made with cosmetic grade ingredients and 10 percent glycerin. In a one percent iodine formulation, the product is designed to deliver six to eight parts per million of free iodine.
It is available in sizes from four to 205 litres.
