Livestock waterer
SPI Industries has a new electric waterer for livestock.
The easy-to-clean polyethylene units can be floor or wall-mounted with
the brackets included. The radiant heater pad with pre-set thermostat,
coupled with the unit’s insulation, is designed to prevent freezing in
the harshest weather.
The watertight heat pad is mounted away from the water supply to guard
against stray electrical shocks.The EE10 holds almost 13 litres. Also

New utility tractor
Massey Ferguson’s new MF 251XE is powered by a fuel-efficient
three-cylinder Perkins diesel engine with a Fastram combustion system.
An eight-speed manual transmission has sliding gears with planetary
reduction to provide eight forward and two reverse speeds. Two speeds
are used for slow operations, four are working speeds, and two
high-speed gears are used for transport.
The tractor is equipped to handle a wide range of applications with a
category one three-point hitch and advanced Ferguson system hydraulics
for precise implement control. A draft-sensing top link provides
response to maintain an even working depth, and the position control
lets the operator set and maintain the implement position.
A dual-stage foot clutch controls the transmission and the live 540
pto. Pto speed is achieved at a low 1,908 engine rpm, allowing the
engine to run at a higher torque rating under full load to help prevent
lug down and the need to change ground speed.
