Liquid tank
Free Form Plastic Products has a new Generation II plastic liquid tank that eliminates algae growth without sacrificing structural integrity.
It is white on the outside but has a black interior to block the sun’s ultraviolet rays.
Algae growth and contamination have always been a problem with light-coloured water tanks. Black tanks have typically been used to overcome this problem, but because of heat absorption the inherent strength of the tank was weakened.
Free Form has a selection of flat bottom and cone bottom poly tanks for water or liquid fertilizers. A variety of metal stationary or truck mount stands are available to offer complete drainage when mated with the cone bottom tanks.

The larger tanks offer a new eight-rib reinforced dome as standard equipment.
All tanks have large raised tie-down lugs for properly and legally securing tanks when transporting. Four of the eight tie-down lugs are equipped with transport hooks, which can be used to lift the tanks when empty. Sight tube kits are available for all models.

Waste absorbent
Sorbitec’s new line of products are designed to absorb oil, chemicals and water-based liquids.
They are also designed for use in animal waste lagoons to eliminate odours. When used on lagoons, the recycled absorbent can be used as a fertilizer.
The absorption rate is more than 10 times that of clay. The products are biodegradable and have a flash point of 1,300 C so will not catch fire in most cases.
The products come in several forms including mats, booms and bulk granular. The granular form of the product can act as a fire extinguisher. Once fuels are absorbed, they will not ignite.
There are two forms. The hydrophobic product will not break down in prolonged exposure to water and will float even after reaching full absorption. The hydrogenic form is a universal absorbent.

Animal fence
Keystone Steel and Wire has a new Red Brand fence with four-inch square mesh made for sheep and goats.
A special knot prevents the fence from buckling and sagging but gives it the flexibility for easy installation over rolling and hilly terrain.
The fencing comes in 100 and 330 foot rolls, is 48 inches high and is made of 12.5 gauge galvanized wire.
