Rotary rake

The Liner 880L twin rotary rake from Claas of America clears a 24 to 27

foot swath.

It has dual rotors with 13 tine arms and four double tines for thorough

cleaning.

The tandem axle undercarriage allows the unit to follow the contour of

the field.

It has steerable axles, allowing tight turns on headlands. It also

folds hydraulically for transport.

BASF has received registration for use of Dyvel DS to control Canada

thistle in grass pastures, plus more than 30 other weed and brush

species, with no grazing restriction for beef cattle.

BASF says Dyvel DS at 1.3 litres per acre provides control of dandelion

and affects wild rose, silver willow and western snowberry or buckbrush.

Feed mill

Automatic Equipment’s ATG5000 feed mill is designed to produce precise,

consistent particle size.

The one fast roll principle gives more capacity at up to one third less

horsepower than hammer mills, the company says. It is self cleaning.

It processes up to 5,000 bushels per hour and is available in four,

6.5, eight, 10 and 14 cut models. The hydraulics are self contained and

there is a no- slip cog belt drive. There is a 14-inch intake auger and

a 12-inch tube conveyor discharge.
