Disc opener

Flexi-coil has introduced a new double-shoot Barton angle disc opener for low soil disturbance and the ability to separate seed and fertilizer in the same pass.

Like the single-shoot Barton, the new opener is designed to reduce hairpinning and give better penetration and depth accuracy.

The second disc uses the same soil cut as the front disc, but cuts at the opposite angle, forming a second slot in the soil allowing seed to be placed above and to the side of the fertilizer.
