Larger chemical sizes
Bayer CropScience’s Thumper and Buctril M herbicides are now available in 130 litre, bulk-shuttle containers.
The new size contains enough chemical to treat 320 acres at the recommended label rate. The containers allow producers and bulk applicators to handle equal amounts of Buctril M, Thumper and Puma 120 Super, which is also available in a 130-litre size.
The larger bulk containers reduce filling times, minimize packaging and are well-suited to bulk commercial applications. Each product comes in its own colour-coded container.

Spray boom adjuster
Montgomery Industries has an automatic spray boom adjuster that keeps high clearance sprayer booms at a constant distance from the ground, regardless of changes in topography.
The Auto Boom monitors pressure on the wheels attached to each boom and uses hydraulic lift cylinders to adjust boom height based on wheel load. By maintaining a constant application height, producers and custom applicators can ensure accurate effective application of farm chemicals.
It comes with an in-cab instrumentation panel as well as visual and audible alarms.

Quad mower
Quad Hyper-Cut has a pair of universal mowers that attach to most models of all-terrain vehicles.
The RD62 mower has a 62-inch cutting width with rear discharge and five offset blades. The SD48 model has a 48-inch cutting width, side discharge and three offset blades.
The mowers are powered by a Briggs and Stratton, 17.5 horsepower engine that features keyed ignition, electric clutch and a control console for throttle, ignition and mower engagement.
They are attached by driving the ATV over the mower deck and dropping a pin and cable lock into the deck-holding mechanism.
