Air seeder tank option
Morris Industries has introduced a third tank option for its 7000 series air seeder carts.
With this option, farmers can do three tasks in one pass, for example apply seed and starter fertilizer while deep banding additional fertilizer.
The optional tank uses the same transmission ratios and slow speed drive as the 7000 series air seeder front tank transmission. The third tank is also designed for seeding canola and other fine seeds which require low application rates.
There are two models. The 7032 is designed for use with the Morris 7130 and 7180 air seeder tanks. The larger 7042 is used with 7240 and 7300 model tanks.

Water tester
EBPI, of Brampton, Ont., has developed the Water Check, a home kit to test for presence of coliform bacteria in drinking water.
To use, add water to the powder in the kit and let it sit for a while. If coliforms are present, the water will turn from yellow to blue-green.
The presence of coliforms may indicate fecal pollution and disease-causing microbes.
