Tillage tools
Bourgault Tillage Tools Ltd. has introduced the Speed-Loc and Speed-Release companion devices for quick-change tillage tools.
Speed-Loc adapters feature a spring-loaded pin that pops into a hole in the sweep or opener, securely locking it on.
A stop feature ensures consistent working depth from one tool to another. The Speed-Release tool makes removal easy.
The components are made from heat-treated, long-wearing stainless steel.
The tools will be available in February.

Livestock waterer
SPI Industries has introduced the Tip Tank livestock waterer.
The durable, maintenance-free, double-walled tank is made of polyethylene. Its tipping handle is built into the bracket system and acts as part of the locking system.
There are universal brackets for floor or wall mounting.
The float and valve system is at the centre back of the tank, giving the livestock optimum accessibility.
The tank can hold 378 litres. At maximum, it can water 250 beef cattle or 120 dairy cattle.

Bale processor
Vermeer has introduced the BP7000 bale processor, designed to reduce feeding and bedding costs while increasing feed palatability and efficiency.
It can spread straw up to 15 metres, feed open range cattle in adjustable windrow sizes, and can place processed hay directly into feed bunks and along fencelines using a standard bunk feeder attachment.
An optional grain feed tank also allows the operator to mix in feed rations as the bales are processed.
It is powered by adjustable, hydraulically driven feed rollers that rotate and loosen the bale in either direction for uniform feeding into a flail-type shredder.
The PTO-driven flails process hay and straw to meet feeding and bedding preferences.
It will handle a 1.8 m diameter bale in two minutes or less.
