Belt conveyor
Buhler Manufacturing has introduced a line of belt conveyors. Available in belt widths of 12, 16 and 22 inches with tube diameters of 10 and 14 inches, they include in-line and swing models.
Scissor-lift undercarriages are standard on swing models and optional on longer in-line models.
Lengths range from 35 to 90 feet to accommodate bin heights up to 45 feet 9 inches at 30 degrees of incline.
Designed for gentle handling of pulse crops, conveyors avoid damage that may occur to commodities such as beans and sunflowers when handled by screw type augers. Fertilizer is also best handled by a conveyor.

Wet-dry feeder
Koenders Manufacturing’s Generation Three wet-dry feeder can feed up to 55 hogs.
The unit was found to be the highest weight-gaining wet-dry feeder on the market by the Prairie Swine Research Centre in Saskatoon.
It is 46 inches high, 41 inches wide and 44 inches deep.
The feed pan has three levels for wet, dry and mixed feed. It accommodates four hogs and has a 60 gallon capacity. The flow rate is adjustable from closed to one inch.
The water line is 1/2 inch and the nipple has adjustable flow.

Canola diesel additive
Milligan Biotech’s canola oil-based diesel fuel conditioner is now available at Westward Parts Ltd. outlets across Canada.
The product combines the cleaning properties of bio-diesel with the lubricity properties of both bio-diesel and canola oil derivatives.
The result is an environmentally responsible fuel additive for diesel engines with superior lubricity for improved engine performance, increased fuel economy and extended engine life.
The inclusion rate is .01 percent by volume, which means one litre of additive treats 1,000 L of diesel fuel.
