Shredding bales
Kingsman Industries has introduced a self-contained bale handling and feeding machine that attaches to your tractor. It picks up, transports and shreds two bales into a feeding windrow in about six minutes, removing dust, mildew and mould with minimum leaf loss.
Knives in the shredding drum are the same as in most hay mowers and mounted with bolts, so maintenance can be done with tools already on hand. The new two-bale feeder requires little horsepower to operate the pickup arm and shredding drum, but does require adequate tongue-handling weight to accommodate picking up and moving as much as two tonnes of bale or silage.
