Western grain cart

Degelman Industries has introduced a grain cart called the Shuttlekart 800, which has been adapted to western Canadian needs with quick grain discharge to a tandem or semi-trailer and a spout which can be lowered to feed any bin auger.

Other design features of the Shuttlekart include: 800-bushel capacity; drop auger that swivels for low and high-reach unloading; control gate to vary flow as high as 800 bu. in four minutes; easy-access clean-out doors that run along the underside of the hopper allowing pit dumps; horizontal auger window to check grain level and inspect cart components without climbing the ladder; integral frame for good ground clearance; low-profile box for clearance by a combine auger and adjustable axles to accommodate crop row spacing.

Utility sweep tub

An improved manufacturing process has allowed Powder River to produce a cost-competitive portable utility sweep tub. The half-circle unit comes with an overhead brace and a positive safety latch. The tub is manufactured from 16-gauge tube and uses a schedule-10 bow to support the swing gate. Suggested retail price is $800 (U.S.).

The sweep tub has also prompted Powder River to put together a complete working package called the UT-16; consisting of sweep, a 4.9 metre (16-foot) adjustable width alley and a squeeze chute.
