Storing liquids
Free Form Plastic Products has introduced a line of portable storage systems for on-site liquid storage.
The systems are available in 3,000, 4,000, 5,000 and 7,400 gallon sizes and can be white or black.
A self-contained hydraulic system allows quick conversion from transport to field position and back again.
The tanks have cone bottoms to allow complete drainage. They are suitable for storage of an array of liquids including fertilizer, feed supplements, herbicides and water for livestock and spraying.
A recently released version of these systems is available with a cone bottom tank mounted on the front and a 500 gallon livestock trough mounted on the rear.

The portable storage systems have features such as adjustable hitch heights, safety chains, Banjo fittings, remote control valve handles and Cam-lock connections.
Each system is plumbed with two inch hose and fittings. Optional three inch plumbing is available.
A shielded central fill allows tanks to be loaded individually or simultaneously. The cart is equipped with 11 L x 15 DOT tires, rated for highway speeds. A rear hitch is standard.

Mower reduces plugs
New Idea’s 5515 disc mower conditioner has a 15 foot, three inch wide cutting bed and centre pivot hitch.
The cutter has 20 swing away reversible knives mounted on 10 discs. The spur gear cutter bed features pre-lubed and sealed bearings for idler and drive gears. The cutter bed design reduces turbulence caused by the conditioner rollers.
This allows the operator to maintain speed even in light crop conditions without stems being blown ahead of the cutter bar.
To prevent plugs, the tension on an over-centre roller conditioner releases when an object or heavy mat of forage tries to pass through the rollers.
Other features include an enclosed roll drive gear case and multiple spring flotation.

Clean water
Koenders has a new 120-gallon single-wall stock water trough made of medium density polyethylene.
It is 24 inches deep and the outer diameter is 49 inches.
The trough is easily moved and can be stacked for economical shipping. Optional spin fitting is available.
