New Holland mower-conditioner

The model 1475 Haybine mower-conditioner is available in 4.3, 4.9 and 5.5 metre heads. The pivot tongue matches the mowing and conditions capacity of self-propelled units. The three heads have dual counter-stroking sickles that minimize vibration.

Floating 51-centimetre diameter augers have deep flighting to accommodate high-volume crops. Gear-driven 260-cm rubber, intermeshing chevron-design conditioning rolls allow for fast crop drying. Roll pressure is controlled by torsion-bar linkage that releases pressure to pass slugs without plugging.

The 1475 has an adjustable swath gate, window shields and fluffing baffle that let operators choose windrow patterns from 96-243 cm wide. A 63-cm header lift height allows the implement to cross large windrows without dragging cut material. Hydraulic pump volume allows ample capacity to drive both header and conditioner.
