Diesel fuel lubricant

Power Up Lubricants of Calgary has introduced a new-generation diesel fuel lubricant, GEN 49D. It helps lubricate fuel system components, including pumps and injectors, as well as improving lubrication to the fireside of the engine. The lubricant also slows down premature wear associated with low sulphur diesel fuel and increases operational efficiency. Engines treated with GEN 49D show improved horsepower and cold weather starting and save fuel. Wear on components is reduced.

Gel herbicide registered

Rhone-Poulenc Canada Inc. has announced PARDNER, its herbicide used to control annual broadleaf weeds in corn and cereal crops, is now available as a gel formulation in a water-soluble pack. PARDNER is the first of the Rhone-Poulenc products to be formulated this way. Advantages of a gel include reduced worker exposure and premeasured doses. Overpack and cardboard boxes never come in contact with the herbicide, so they can be disposed of as ordinary waste.
