Hitch system
John Deere’s new iMatch quick-attach hitch system can attach implements
easier and quicker on all 4000 TEN series tractors.
It converts the three points of a three-point hitch to fixed hooks and
attaching points, according to the company. Operators can back up the
tractor and slide on the power take-off shafts.
Compatible implements include 550, 660 and 680 tillers, all utility and
MX-type rotary cutters, 4000 series compatible flail mowers and other
turf care products.

Compact tractor
New Holland has a new compact tractor offering two-wheel or front-wheel
drive and a choice of transmissions. The three-cylinder 30 horsepower
TC30 can be equipped with a hydrostatic transmission or manual gear
transmission.
The hydraulic system has 9.6 gallons of total flow per minute. The live
hydraulics deliver 6.1 gpm coupled with a heavy-duty rear axle,
providing a three-point hitch lift of 1,625 pounds. A separate 3.5 gpm
steering pump maintains responsive hydrostatic power steering.

Cattle treatment approved
Excenel RTU Sterile Suspension (ceftiofur hydrochloride) is now
approved in Canada for treatment of bovine respiratory disease and
footrot in dairy and beef animals.
Excenel RTU is ready to use right out of the bottle. No special
preparation or refrigeration is required.
The new formulation carries the same zero-day milk discard as Excenel
soluble powder.
For beef and culled dairy cattle, it has a three-day withdrawal period.
Its effectiveness against target pathogens can also mean a longer
lasting or durable cure against respiratory problems that prevent
weight gain or force re-treatment or culling, the company said in a
release.
Excenel RTU can help producers market high-quality beef and reduce loss
to trimming. Subcutaneous administration in the neck will minimize the
risk of tissue damage.
