Rotary cutter
Schulte has introduced a new 10-foot rotary cutter available in trailing and semi-mount configurations.
The semi-mount F10 accommodates CAT two and three standard and quick hitches and is equipped with a 13.5-inch hydraulic swing to the left and right. This gives 27 inches of cutter movement for better manoeuverability.
The central double spring suspension system cushions the unit without causing side-to-side sway. Moveable wheel standards are adjustable.
The clutch, driveshaft and gear boxes are built for heavy duty work, the company says.

The trailing unit has a constant velocity power shaft that allows tractor turns of up to 80 degrees with no drive line vibration.
The unit has continuously welded seams and the bottom of the deck has welded protection rings to prevent damage from bent blades.

Air drill
Morris Industries has introduced a new 60-foot Maxim air drill.
The unit is equipped with Morris’ patented frame coupling system and floating hitch. The company says it combines size with accurate seed placement and consistent depth control.
The coupling system attaches each of the five independent floating frames to the tow bar by a single universal ball joint. Rear stabilizers ensure proper tracking and fully flexible front-to-back and side-to-side contouring.
Dual inner wing frame castor wheels support the frame to create the flotation needed to maintain consistent depth control, the company says.
In-frame transport wheels reduce the load on the front gauge wheels in transport and elevate above the frame in field position to provide trash flow.
