Grain tank capacity has been increased to 300 bushels with fast unloading to improve harvesting capacity. The TX68 uses conventional threshing with a rotary separator that removes nearly all the grain from the straw ahead of the straw walkers. A self-levelling shoe automatically compensates for sidehill slopes.

A lateral float option automatically senses the correct header height using ultrasound, allowing the header to be operated close to the ground when harvesting low-hanging crops. The option is also useful when harvesting at night. The thresher, header and auger are engaged electro-hydraulically.

An electronic monitoring system keeps the operator apprised of all combine operations. A quiet cab (resistant up to 76 decibels), air suspension seat and air conditioning reduce operator fatigue.
