Flexi-Coil air cart

A 340-bushel three-tank design by Flexi-Coil enables triple-shoot capability in one pass, for seed fertilizer or granular herbicides. The tank features large flotation tires.

The 50-series monitor/controller shows the operator where to place meter settings. The numeric display gives data on ground speed, area covered, bin levels, fan speed and rate-per-acre. The system is compatible with precision farming technologies.

The cart’s fan supplies air to the 50-series distribution system. A lever redirects air for quick changing between single, double and triple-shoot configurations.

Rotary ditcher

The 540 p.t.o. and 1,000 p.t.o. models of the rotary ditcher work in sod, stubble, peat moss, dry packed soil and can ditch through standing water. They can also be used for leveling ridges and old fence lines, or for cutting new drains and irrigation ditches.

With the optional apron, the ditcher can build and maintain terraces, clean roadside ditches and place dirt on the roadside. Bigger trenches can be made using multiple cuts. The apron can by lowered and raised hydraulically for discharge control from two feet to 150 feet. Because the rotary ditcher spreads the dirt as it digs, soil compaction is not a problem. Adjustable rippers at the front of the ditcher loosen packed subsoil and heavy clay. They also lift smaller stones and pivot over larger ones.

For more information contact Rotary Ditchers 1994 Ltd., Box 40, Fannystelle, Man., R0G 0P0 or phone 204-436-2469.
