Row knife
Dutch Industries has introduced a new paired row knife attachment series for applying fertilizer near the seed, but in a different zone.
The attachment is combined with Super Eagle and Roll Pin replaceable tips for granular, liquid or anhydrous fertilizer.
The attachment places the seed in two rows, four inches apart. The Super Eagle puts the fertilizer between the seed bands, three-quarters of an inch below them.
The units are made of carbon steel and high-wearing sealer plates.

Conveyor
Darmani North America has introduced a new conveyor for seed, fertilizer and cereal crops.
The 1500 series Accelerator conveyors are 10 inches in diameter with a 15-inch chevron belt and are available in lengths of 70 to 85 feet. The patented design gives the unit almost five times the capacity of a standard 10-inch conveyor.
A hydraulic hitch allows the operator to move the unit in and out of bins and hook it up for transport without leaving the tractor cab.
Standardized sideskirts protect the belt from the elements, estimated to increase its longevity by 25-30 percent.
