Masonry cleaner
Pour-N-Restore is a new product that removes oil, grease, transmission and brake fluid, antifreeze and wax from concrete and masonry.
The manufacturer says the product penetrates into masonry and captures the staining molecules. As it dries, it transforms into an absorbent powder. No scrubbing is needed.
After a few hours, the powder is swept up and the stain is gone.
Its citrus-based formula is biodegradable and phosphate free.

Swine flu vaccine
Schering-Plough Animal Health has introduced MaxiVac Excell, a vaccine that treats in one shot two sub-types of the swine flu, H1N1 and H3N2.
Swine flu is generally caused by a virus identified as Type A H1N1, whose symptoms could include high fever, a barking cough and low feed consumption.
It may also be triggered by an emerging sub-type known as H3N2, which has been linked to abortions and sudden death in sows.
Although outbreaks of the H3N2 swine influenza virus are rarely recorded in Canada, veterinarians and diagnostic laboratories are on the alert since the new sub-type is circulating in the United States.
MaxiVac Excell is available in 50-dose (100 millilitre), 125-dose (250 mL) and 250-dose (500 mL) packages.
The product comes ready to use, with no preparation required. A two mL dose of MaxiVac Excell should be administered by intramuscular injection to pigs four weeks of age or older. Pigs should be revaccinated two to three weeks later.
MaxiVac Excell has the oil-in-water adjuvant Emunade, which provides fast-acting, long-lasting immunity.

Fertilizer cart
Free Form Plastic Products has a new line of liquid fertilizer carts.
They come equipped with heavy duty cone bottom poly tanks sloped at a 10 degree angle to offer complete drainage, low cart height and greater stability.
Tank sizes are 1,500, 2,000 and 2,500 gallons.
The carts are designed with one common frame that accommodates all three tank sizes, allowing customers to upgrade with a larger tank on the existing frame.
The gooseneck hitch allows for tight turns. Tires are available in either a flotation turf type or a traction lug R1 design.
A low maintenance pump drive design allows the customer to easily disconnect the drive manually or have the option of an electric magnetic clutch.
The cone bottom tank and cradle assembly can be bought separately, allowing users the option to design and build their own cart.
All three carts come with universal mounting plates for the drive pump and transfer pump and there is a choice in pumps and plumbing style to complete the cart.
