Canada must be prepared to fight back — not just with retaliatory tariffs that could do as much harm to Canadian consumers as they do to the U.S. economy, but with a broader strategy to reduce economic dependence on the U.S. and shield Canadian workers from the worst effects of Trump’s trade aggression.
