Big corporate farms have unfair advantage

The big corporate farmers should not be treated the same when it comes to crop insurance because we pay more than 40 per cent taxes and they pay less than 10 per cent taxes, which pays for the 66 per cent premium of crop insurance.

They should not get crop insurance because it’s not fair.

Also, the big corporate farmers should not be able to bid against us when bidding for land because they have extra money left over after paying taxes. It’s not a level bidding field.

For example, my big corporate farmer neighbour sold his land for $35 million just a little while ago. No wonder they get so big.
