Daryl Briscoe farms near Meadow Lake, Sask.: “There are two Daryls, or whatever your name is, in all of us. Have you ever had a bad day, been grumpy, talking to yourself?”
Is it true that those animal rights people, the poor misguided souls, really hate humans or do they jest act that way?
It don’t seem to matter how many of the human species, including children, are badly hurt or killed, they can only get on a cryin jag if some animal is bruised.

AI can help with research, but is not the only answer
AI tools have generated a lot of sensational news headlines, but there’s much more to these new tools than that, including their potential to answer questions in seconds.
The fact of the matter is that 50 percent of the accidents in Saskatchewan, probably holds for the rest of the Prairies, involve wildlife. I know, I didn’t believe it either so I checked it out.
Right from the horses mouth or I should say from the government traffic safety committee I was informed that it is true. So isn’t that a fine state of affairs? We have government concentrating on the small part of the problem an ignoring the main part.
After you deduct wildlife there’s only half left which includes jest plain accidents, driver fault an alcohol related, as they say. I don’t believe we should put up with these either but how come we’re spendin all the money, resources an time on half the problem?
I enjoy having wildlife around an I don’t mind feeding them but there is a limit, which we are now past.
I have tangled with a deer on the road an so have lots of others. Many drivers get killed, paralized for life or badly hurt. Any vehicle, specially the newer ones with the nose down in front, doesn’t come out very good an you can easily end up with the animal in your lap.
The governments make laws to encourage animals to stay by the roads, buy hundreds of white trucks with expensive drivers to harass hunters an protect the wildlife. Maybe they should harass wildlife off the roads an protect people.
Even the CBC back on March 17 put on a disgusting skit where a driver who hit a deer was out on the road cryin about his bent fender an the reporter was commenting on the deer blood on the road an the poor dead animal. Unfortunately, it doesn’t usually happen that way. In most cases it’s the driver’s or his passengers’ blood on the road. I wonder what the CBC’s feelings are for the friends an relatives?
Our educators influenced my an your kids to form students against drunk driving (SADD) an I commend them for that. But do they know or are they ignoring the main accident problem?
My other brother Daryl, cranky as usual, says that those teachers should get the kids to form (MAD) moose are destructive, (DAD) deer are dangerous or (WAK) wildlife are killers.
This could bring on more bumper stickers.
