Viterra has officially opened its grain terminal at Rosser, Man., with a capacity of tens of thousands of tonnes and the ability to load more than 150 rail cars.
“This investment represents our ongoing commitment to driving excellence in the transportation supply chain and is another excellent example of Viterra’s commitment to creating and maintaining an industry leading asset network,” said chief executive officer Kyle Jeworski in a statement.
“We take great care to evaluate our footprint and make the targeted investments necessary to support our industry today and well into the future.”
The new terminal will have a total storage capacity of 34,000 tonnes and be able to load up to 156 rail cars through a looped track.
Viterra also officially opened a nearly identical facility in Biggar, Sask., June 14.
