Viterra has eliminated its senior vice-president of financial products position, which was previously held by George Prosk.
The move was prompted by the company’s decision to integrate its financial products group within the agriproducts division.
Financial products will now join other product lines such as seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, equipment, feed and forage.
Viterra is also changing the company’s legal services function as a result of its global market position.
This move prompted the departure of Ray Dean, Viterra’s senior vice-president, general counsel/corporate secretary. The company will conduct a global search to fill this position.
