Gardiner Agri-Energy Ltd., a company planning to build an ethanol plant adjacent to Gardiner Dam Terminal near Strongfield, Sask., has filed documents in its goal to raise equity for the project.
A final prospectus has been filed to raise $15 to $30 million through the sale of Class A and B shares.
The plant would be capable of producing 95 million litres of ethanol per year using 262,662 tonnes of grain.
The expected cost of the project is about $119 million.
The company has applied for funding under provincial and federal alternative fuel programs and is also seeking a major investor-partner that would invest $5.9 to $19.9 million.
