SASKATOON (Staff) – Some saddle sores are expected on a week-long trail ride July 29-Aug. 5 between Saskatoon and Regina to raise money for Kinsmen Telemiracle 1996.
The Warman 4-H Light Horse Club is organizing the event but anyone can join the ride, at any point along the way, by gathering pledges for Telemiracle.
The ride leaves Saskatoon from Grasswood Esso, with plans to travel about 32 kilometres per day, taking a leisurely pace. As of last week over 40 riders had registered for the event and as many as 200 are expected.
