Round bales were recently ground into feed on Hugh and Jeannette Greaves’ farm near Deerwood, Man.

Nitrates in the green feed are a potential problem for the Greaves, and they hope that grinding different forages will remove the risk.

Miami Custom Feed Grinding is able to grind 45 to 50 bales an hour, depending on how fine they are chopped.
