Alberta farmers can now list standing crop on the provincial hay and pasture listings.
A new category, called Standing Annual Crop, has been added to the lists so farmers can sell crops for livestock feed.
The new listing can be found under the general store heading on the Alberta Agriculture website.
Farmers can enter the necessary information online or contact the provincial Ag Info Centre.
The new category had 12 listings as of Aug. 27 for crop ranging from standing wheat, barley and oats to crop mixes, including canola.
