Spray plane crash kills pilot

Byron Gwilliam, 22, died after his spray plane crashed into a slough near Kandahar, Sask., July 19. Kandahar is about 170 kilometres east of Saskatoon.

The Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the early morning crash along with Environment Canada, which is examining the resulting chemical spill.

Gwilliam, of Kelvington, Sask., was the lone occupant of the plane.
