Canadians who admit to less than good eating say the main problem is a hectic lifestyle. Try these ideas to mesh convenience and speed with healthy choices.

  • Barbecued chicken and prepared coleslaw from the store, served at home with a glass of milk and a microwave baked potato.
  • Eggs scrambled with ham, cheese and green peppers, served with toast and milk.
  • Canned brown beans rolled up in a warm flour tortilla with grated cheese, shredded carrots and bean sprouts.
  • Meat tortellini, tomato sauce, grated cheese and cucumber slices.
  • Crock pot meals made the night before.
  • Cheese and potato perogies, sliced ham, canned corn and milk.
