Farmers Edge, a precision agriculture and remote sensing service provider headquartered in Winnipeg, has opened an office that will oversee its operations in the United States.
The Shakopee, Minnesota, operation will help Farmers Edge increase its business in the U.S. Midwest, where it is estimated that over the next three years precision farming will increase to 14 percent, or 23 million acres across the corn belt.
